Can the 5/30 Health Challenge and Wellness be done at school?

The 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge does not officially offer a version for schools so there is no specific registration for schools or classes. However, teachers and school employees are invited to participate in the Health Challenge by registering individually or as a team.

No material has yet been produced specifically for students or teachers. The support kits offered at IGA are meant more for parents than children.

For primary schools that want like to organize a health-related activity, the Défi Moi j’croque, offered by Sport Étudiant every March, takes a look at diet, and the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie is not to be missed during Physical Education Month in May. The Peluredebanane.com program, also offered by Sport Étudiant, encourages high school teens to eat fruits and vegetables.
