Description of the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge
1. The 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge aims to encourage Quebecers 4 years of age and older to achieve or maintain three key health objectives during a minimum period of six weeks from March 1 to April 11, 2010 inclusive:
- Eating at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day, a minimum of 5 days a week.
- Moving for at least 30 minutes a day, a minimum of 5 days a week.
- Increase the balance in your life by targeting one of the five suggested objectives.
2. The goal of the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge is participation and taking action, without aiming for performance. Participants take up the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge in their own way, according to their reality and preferences, in order to improve their health.
3. Persons duly registered for the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge who satisfy the conditions set out in the present rules participate in the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge contest and have the chance to win a prize for their participation at the time the winners are declared.
4. Registration is free of charge and all persons registered for the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge may modify or cancel their registration file at any time up to April 11, 2010, by going to 530HealthAndWellnessChallenge.ca, clicking on registration and accessing the My information option.
